Initial consultative sessions are one hour. Most follow up sessions are thirty minutes, but may be scheduled for one hour, to best serve the needs of the individual client.
Dr. Lipke is nationally certified to treat patients across all stages of life including children through elderly adults. Her age preference for children is age seven and older.
Dr. Lipke treats many psychiatric conditions including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorders, attention deficit disorders, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, psychotic disorders including schizophrenia, schizoaffective, and delusional disorders.
Some conditions are best treated in a different specialty setting to achieve optimal results. These include, but may not be limited to, addiction, domestic violence, severe eating disorders, dementia, court-ordered treatment, disability evaluations, disorders requiring medications during pregnancy or breast-feeding, return to work evaluations, and anger management.
